As we’ve done with many other OFS Customer Service team members, today, I’d like to introduce you to Heather.
Heather actually joined our team back in March, which is when the following little interview exchange took place. (Sorry for the delayed “welcome” here on the blog Heather!)
Me: Why did you decide to become a customer service rep at OFS?
Heather: I have worked in customer service for many years and just really enjoy what I do.
Me: What has been the most challenging part of your job so far?
Heather: Learning all of the fabrics and additional options within the fabric families. It blows my mind all of the options there are!
Me: What has been the most rewarding part of your job so far?
Heather: Still being relatively new to OFS, I would have to say taking in all of the knowledge everyone has thrown my way and being able to use it on a daily basis. I also think it is very rewarding to be working around so many great people everyday.
Me: What’s one of your favorite OnlineFabricStore fabrics?
Heather: I really like HGTV Urban Blossoms Glacier Fabric.
Me: Do you sew at all?
Heather: I’m fairly new to sewing but took a basics class to learn my machine, and have made things like individual tissue holders and baby blankets. I follow a bunch of sewing blogs and I learn that way as well. I am hoping to grow my skills and be able to really put my machine to work. I have learned so many tips and tricks so far from my lovely co-workers, so I don’t think I will have any problems in that department!
Me: What are your hobbies outside of OFS?
Heather: Gardening, scrapbooking, cooking, attending Red Sox games and just spending as much time with my family as possible.
